Billing at the speed customers actually arrive
A kirana counter does not get a quiet moment to type. Items come up by name as you type the first two or three letters, the quantity box takes 1.5 for a kilo and a half without complaint, and the customer is only chosen when the sale is going on credit. Regulars who always pay cash never slow the bill down.

The khata, but it knows which bill was paid
A paper khata gives you a running total and nothing else, so when someone hands over two hundred rupees against four months of small purchases, the arithmetic is yours to do and yours to defend. Here the payment is applied to the bills it settles. The customer's page shows what each bill still owes, and a receipt prints for the money they just gave you.

Knowing what is finished before a customer tells you
Every sale takes the item down, every purchase puts it back, and each product carries the level at which you want to be warned. The phone tells you what is low once a day rather than every time a packet sells, so the alert still means something after a week.

Questions from kirana shops.
Do I need to add every item before I can bill?
No. You can add an item while making the bill and carry on. Most shops build the list over their first week or two rather than sitting down to enter everything at once.
Can I sell in kilos and grams?
Yes. Units are free text, so kg, gram, packet, peti, bora, dozen or anything else your trade uses all work, and quantities take decimals. Nothing forces an item to be counted in pieces.
Do I have to charge GST?
No. Tax is off by default for kirana, and bills print with no tax lines. If you are registered, you can turn it on and set rates per item without changing any bill you have already made.
Can my son or my helper use it without seeing everything?
Yes. Add them as a cashier and they can bill and take payments but not open reports, purchase prices or staff settings. Everything they do is recorded against their name.
What if the phone is lost?
Anything that had synced is on our servers and comes back when you sign in on a new phone. Bills made offline on a lost phone that never reached a network cannot be recovered, which is the honest answer — sync as often as you get a signal.
