01 · Install

Nothing to download, and nothing to reinstall

Billing on a computer runs in Chrome or Edge, which most computers already have, on Windows, a Mac or a Chromebook. There is no setup file, no licence key and no version to keep up to date. If you would rather it behaved like an app, the browser can add it to the desktop or the taskbar, where it opens in its own window like any other program.

02 · No internet

It bills offline in the browser too

A bill made on the computer is saved in the browser first and sent to our servers afterwards, the same way the phone works. When the connection drops, the counter carries on: items come up, the bill is numbered and printed, and everything goes up by itself once the network is back.

03 · Phone and computer

The counter phone and the office computer, one shop

The computer and the phone show the same items, customers, udhaar and bills because they are the same shop, not a copy kept in step by hand. A bill made on one appears on the other. Each person signed in has their own invoice series, so two people billing at once never compete for the same number.

04 · Price

What billing on a computer costs

Nothing. The browser till and the dashboard are on every plan, the free one included, with no card and no time limit. The free plan registers your phone and your computer both, and covers one person and 200 items — so one person moves between the counter and the desk. A second person, billing at the same time on the other one, is what the next plan up adds.

05 · Honestly

What it is not

It is not a Windows program you install, and it is not desktop accounting software: there are no ledgers, no balance sheet and no Tally-style vouchers. It prints through the browser's print window, so it prints to whatever printer your computer can already print to, thermal ones included when they have a driver.
